Operations Affected by
Johnstown Housing Authority is operating with restrictions in an effort to promote health and safety among our residents, employees and the community.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has mandated that all housing authorities are essential and must continue to provide services to residents.
Until further notice, JHA offices are operating with full staff on Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and with limited staff on Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Our offices are closed to public entry. Official business can still be conducted via phone, email, mail, fax or drop-boxes.
Applications are still being accepted for appropriate programs, though functions such as new admissions and inspections for Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program are currently suspended.
Although maintenance personnel are available 24 hours a day, duties are prioritized as to the necessity of the work. Increased sanitization practices have been implemented.
