The Transparency in Coverage (TiC) Final Rules public disclosure requirement requires group health plans and carriers to post in- and out-of-network pricing information to a public website.

As the initial enforcement date of July 1, 2022 approaches for posting the machine-readable files (MRF) under the Transparency in Coverage Rule, AultCare has taken extensive actions to meet its regulatory requirements as a health insurance issuer for individual and group health plans.

Beginning July 1 and monthly thereafter, the MRFs will appear on AultCare's site at Price Transparency » AultCare.

This location is publicly available and accessible to all. No authentication is required.

While these files are accessible to all, the file itself is large, written in JSON, which is a machine-readable language, and not easily interpreted or searchable. The MRFs are to be posted to comply with the TiC requirements of allowing 3rd party developers and researchers to pull down the information in order to study the costs associated with healthcare.
